She had 11 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a 78-76 win at Hradec Kralove, then posted 16 points, three rebounds and two assists in a 74-55 win against Trutnov. Earlier, she finished with 15 points, three rebounds and five assists in an 84-65 win at Basket Ostrava. Her production across scoring, rebounding and playmaking will be central to Ostrava’s chances.

Queralt Casas led Girona with eight points, eight rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes. Casas has been Girona’s most reliable option in a difficult opening stretch. She scored 10 points with three rebounds and one assist against Mallorca Palma and had eight points and eight rebounds against Jairis. She also contributed six rebounds at Estudiantes and three rebounds with two assists against Emlak Konut. Girona will need more balanced scoring around her to counter Ostrava’s form.

Girona’s losses have come against Jairis, Mallorca Palma, Estudiantes and Emlak Konut. After Wednesday, SBS Ostrava is scheduled to visit Slovanka, then travel to Keltern and DSK before returning home. Girona will visit Araski, then travel to Montana 2003 before hosting IDK Gipuzkoa. The teams are also set to meet again later. SBS Ostrava will look to maintain its strong start, while Girona aims to use home court to spark its first victory.
