SOPRON, Hungary (Interstat) — Zoe Wadoux scored 27 points and added four rebounds, two assists and two blocks as visiting Kibirkstis Vilnius defeated Sopron 81-62 on Wednesday in Euroleague Women women’s professional basketball. Nausia Woolfolk added 18 points and six rebounds for Kibirkstis, and Daugile Use had 12 points and nine rebounds. Kennedy Todd Williams had 13 rebounds and four assists for Sopron. Masa Jankovic scored 16 points, while Zala Friskovec contributed 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. Nneka Ezeigbo grabbed 10 rebounds for Sopron. Gabija Meskonyte scored eight points for Kibirkstis, Niyah Becker added six points, four rebounds and three assists, and Barbara Angyal scored 12 points for Sopron. Kibirkstis led 17-12 after the first quarter, held a 34-31 halftime edge and pulled away with a 27-point third quarter. Kibirkstis shot 28 of 56 from the floor and 8 of 16 from three-point range, while Sopron shot 23 of 75. Kibirkstis improved to 2-0, and Sopron fell to 1-1.
