RUZOMBEROK, Slovakia (Interstat) — Olga Yatskovets had 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead Ruzomberok past Slovan Bratislava 76-48 on Saturday in a women’s professional basketball game. Ruzomberok improved to 2-0, while Slovan Bratislava fell to 1-1. Ruzomberok led 26-16 after the first quarter, 44-20 at halftime and 65-27 through three quarters before Slovan Bratislava closed with a 21-11 fourth. Bendu Yeaney added 12 points, four rebounds and a block. Zuzana Vargova paced Slovan Bratislava with 14 points and four rebounds. Michaela Oravcova scored 12 points and grabbed three rebounds. Zoesha Smith had six points, five rebounds and two assists. Dominica Hynkova added 11 points and six rebounds. Terezia Kraislova contributed nine points and three assists. Andrea Andelova scored 10 points with five rebounds. Daniela Hudecova finished with five points, four rebounds and three assists. Karolina Fadrhonsova added eight points, three rebounds and four assists. Ruzomberok shot 25 of 55 from the floor and made 17 of 26 free throws, while Slovan Bratislava shot 19 of 59 and committed 23 fouls.
