REYKJAVIK, Iceland (Interstat) — Visiting Tindastoll rolled past Fjolnir 101-67 on Wednesday in women’s professional basketball. Kolbrun Armannsdottir starred for Tindastoll with 21 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and one block. Quinzia Fulmore added 27 points and nine rebounds, while Florencia Chagas had 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. For Fjolnir, Arna Eyporsdottir had 16 points and eight rebounds, and Charisse Fairley scored 17 points with six rebounds, three assists and one block. Tindastoll’s Macarena Vallina chipped in four points, six assists, three rebounds and one block, and Fjolnir’s Helga Davidsdottir finished with 12 points, six rebounds and six assists. Inga Siguroardottir contributed six points and seven rebounds, Emma Helgadottir scored 12 points, and Ana Paz added six points, three assists and two rebounds. Tindastoll led 30-10 after the first quarter, built a 47-24 halftime advantage and took a 66-52 edge into the fourth. The visitors then outscored Fjolnir 35-15 in the final quarter. Tindastoll improved to 2-0 while Fjolnir fell to 0-2.
