SABAC, Serbia (Interstat) — Nibak Nis defeated Duga 83-70 on Saturday in a women’s professional basketball game, improving to 5-1 while Duga fell to 1-5. Vladinka Erak led Nibak Nis with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Andela Radovic added 22 points and five assists, Jana Dinic finished with 13 points and seven rebounds, and Bojana Stevanovich chipped in 12 points. Olga Stepanovic paced Duga with 20 points and nine rebounds. Jeana Weatherspoon scored 13 points, Lola Vasic had 12 points, and Mia Djorovic added 10 points. Nibak Nis led 35-31 after one quarter and used a 26-point second quarter to take control. Duga rallied in the third but could not close the gap. Nibak Nis shot 31 of 63 from the floor and 15 of 17 from the free-throw line, while Duga shot 24 of 54 overall and 10 of 31 from three-point range. Nibak Nis committed 14 turnovers to Duga’s 16 and had 11 offensive rebounds to Duga’s six.
