BELGRADE (Interstat)—Korac (0-4) will visit Mega MIS (2-2) Saturday in a women’s professional basketball game.

Mega MIS is coming off a recent overtime win at Ras. It has won two of its first four games. The team’s most recent victory was 70-66 against Ras, with Nevena Petrovic playing 36 minutes and finishing with 12 points, six rebounds and one assist. Nada Maksimovic added 11 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes, while Aleksandra Aleksic had 12 points and three rebounds in 28 minutes. Mega MIS also beat Student Nis 68-66, but has lost to Vojvodina 78-62 and Nibak Nis 68-62.

Petrovic has scored at least seven points in each of her last four games. She also had six rebounds in each of her past two games. Her 36-minute effort at Ras was her most extensive workload of the early season. In her last four games, she has scored in double figures twice. She had nine points, six rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes against Student Nis, 13 points, one rebound and two assists in 18 minutes at Vojvodina, and seven points and three rebounds in 18 minutes at Nibak Nis. She has recorded at least one assist in each of her last three games.

Korac is still seeking its first win after an 0-4 start. Its most recent game ended in a 73-60 loss to Nibak Nis. Anja Spasojevic led Korac with 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and one block in 31 minutes. Tamara Misiraca added nine points and three rebounds in 17 minutes, and Azra Niksic had seven points and three rebounds in 20 minutes.

Spasojevic has scored in double figures in two of her last three games. She scored 17 points with four rebounds, one assist and one block in 33 minutes against Kraljevo, then had eight points, four rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes at Partizan. In the loss to Nibak Nis, she again reached double figures and contributed on both ends. Korac’s other losses this season came against Partizan, Kraljevo and Crvena Zvezda, which rolled to a 112-49 win.

Mega MIS is 2-2 and will play at home. Korac has received additional scoring from Tamara Misiraca and Azra Niksic. Korac’s upcoming slate includes home games against Student Nis, Novosadska, Spartak, Crvena Zvezda and Partizan, along with road games at Ras, Vojvodina, Duga, Kraljevo and Nibak Nis. Mega MIS is set to visit Novosadska, Spartak, Kraljevo, Student Nis and Ras and host Duga, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Nibak Nis and Vojvodina.
