NOVI SAD, Serbia (Interstat) — Andela Jekic had 20 points and 11 rebounds for Novosadska Novi Sad, but visiting Partizan rolled to a 94-45 women’s professional basketball victory Saturday behind Izabel Varejao’s 17 points and seven rebounds. Partizan improved to 4-0, while Novosadska fell to 1-3. Partizan led 16-6 after the first quarter and 46-15 at halftime before taking a 67-27 advantage into the fourth. Partizan shot 36 of 75 from the floor, 5 of 21 from three-point range and 17 of 26 from the free throw line. Novosadska shot 18 of 53 overall, 2 of 13 from beyond the arc and 7 of 13 at the line. Partizan held an 18-7 edge in offensive rebounds, 16-5 in assists and forced 29 turnovers while committing 13. Sara Vasiljevic added nine points and nine assists for Partizan, and Jessica Timmons scored 16 points. Varejao had 12 points and nine rebounds in her previous game against Radivoj Korac.
