KRALJEVO, Serbia (Interstat) — Kraljevo used a dominant second quarter to pull away and beat visiting Novosadska 74-53 Wednesday in a women’s professional basketball game. Myriam Lara led Kraljevo with 23 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks. Arieona Rosborough added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Tina Dincic scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Marina Davinic had 11 points and 6 assists, Bojana Zivkovic scored 11, and Dunja Prodanovic added 7. Novosadska was paced by Tamara Jovancevic with 18 points and 4 rebounds. Teodora Popovic scored 8 points, Dragana Jovicic had 7, and Andela Jekic grabbed 9 rebounds. Kraljevo led 16-11 after the first quarter, then outscored Novosadska 24-16 in the second. Kraljevo took a 40-27 halftime lead and maintained control, leading 53-41 after three. Novosadska scored 12 in the fourth, but Kraljevo answered with 21 to seal the home win. Kraljevo improved to 2-1, while Novosadska fell to 1-2.
