The teams were tied 36-36 at halftime before Torun outscored Bydgoszcz 19-5 in the third. Jack Animam paced Torun with 23 points and 23 rebounds in 33 minutes. Elisa Pinzan added 14 points and five assists. Katrina Ozola led Bydgoszcz with 17 points and seven rebounds. Karina Michalek scored 12 points. Asiah Jones had six points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. Ewelina Jackowska had five points and seven rebounds for Torun. Kristina Moore added eight points for Bydgoszcz. Torun shot 19 of 40 from the floor, 2 of 11 from three-point range and 13 of 25 from the free-throw line. Bydgoszcz shot 16 of 52 overall, 7 of 27 from deep and 11 of 18 from the line. Torun committed 15 turnovers; Bydgoszcz had 10. Torun improved to 1-0, while Bydgoszcz fell to 0-1.
