BUDAPEST (Interstat) — TFSE-MTK rolled past visiting Szigetszentmiklos 114-51 on Wednesday in a women’s professional basketball game. TFSE-MTK improved to 1-1, while Szigetszentmiklos fell to 0-3. Reka Manyoky led TFSE-MTK with 24 minutes, 18 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two blocks. Aliz Janzso added 18 points and five rebounds. Reka Bernath scored 16 points, Lili Volgyi had 15 points, and Roza Vladar contributed 10 points. K. Jackson chipped in eight points and seven assists. Kinga Babay Bognar added 11 points and three rebounds. For Szigetszentmiklos, Zlatka Madankova scored 13 points, Anniina Aijanen had nine points and nine rebounds, and Janka Gergo added 10 points and four assists. TFSE-MTK built a 35-13 lead after the first quarter, extended it to 65-30 at halftime, and led 96-42 through three quarters. TFSE-MTK outscored Szigetszentmiklos 18-9 in the fourth. Szigetszentmiklos entered after losses to BEAC and Csata TKK, while TFSE-MTK had lost to Cegledi. TFSE-MTK next hosts ETO Basket, while Szigetszentmiklos visits Sopron.
