COPENHAGEN (Interstat) — Skovbakken Bears routed SISU 89-52 on Friday in a women’s professional basketball game. Emilie Hesseldal led Skovbakken with a triple-double, finishing with 10 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists. Chloe Welch added 27 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks. Sareen Aharounian scored 16 points, and Caroline Tindal Wich had 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Kamille Henriksen chipped in eight points and three assists. Josefine Schubart Haabegaard paced SISU with 14 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and one block. Ella Fischer scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds, while Asta Jacobsen added seven points and seven rebounds. Karen Dalsgaard pulled down 10 rebounds. Skovbakken shot 39 of 90 from the floor, made 6 of 19 3-pointers and hit 5 of 10 free throws. SISU shot 19 of 71, 5 of 26 from beyond the arc and 9 of 11 at the line. Skovbakken had 26 assists to SISU’s 12, while SISU committed 35 turnovers. Skovbakken improved to 1-2; SISU fell to 0-2.
