CHARNAY, France (Interstat) — Charnay defeated visiting HBA-Marsky Helsinki 91-54 on Wednesday in a women’s professional basketball game. Charnay led 48-24 at halftime and 71-42 after three quarters before closing out the win. Charnay opened with 24 points in each of the first two quarters, added 23 in the third and 20 in the fourth. HBA-Marsky Helsinki scored 13 in the first, 11 in the second, 18 in the third and 12 in the fourth. Claire Dalstra paced Charnay with 23 points and seven rebounds. Alberte Rimdal added 14 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Binta Drame scored 10 points. Molly Kaiser contributed six points, four rebounds and four assists, and Laura Ziegler had seven points, seven rebounds and three assists. Ada Luukkanen led HBA-Marsky Helsinki with 12 points and three rebounds, and Anna Gardziella added 10 points, four rebounds and two blocks. Charnay shot 32 of 71 from the floor and 20 of 23 from the free-throw line, while HBA-Marsky Helsinki shot 19 of 65. Charnay improved to 4-1. HBA-Marsky Helsinki fell to 2-1.
