NICE, France (Interstat) — Cavigal Nice rallied from a seven-point deficit after three quarters and beat visiting Feytiat 88-82 on Saturday in a French LF2 women’s professional basketball game. Feytiat scored 12 points in the first quarter, 29 in the second, 23 in the third and 18 in the fourth. Nice scored 24, 14, 19 and 31. Feytiat led 41-38 at halftime and 64-57 entering the fourth before Nice closed with a 31-18 run. Chloe Mace paced Feytiat with 33 points, five rebounds and three assists. Emilie Raynaud added 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and one block. Dieyneba Niang scored 15 points for Nice, and Astou Gaye added 15 points and six rebounds. Pauline Lanfant scored 16 points for Nice. Pauline Stalars contributed 15 points and nine rebounds for Feytiat. Dorcas Nganfina chipped in six points, five rebounds and seven assists for Nice. Feytiat’s record fell to 0-1, while Cavigal Nice improved to 1-0.
