VIENNA (Interstat) — Martha Pietsch scored 26 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Duches Klosterneuburg to a 56-51 win over Vienna T-Wolves on Sunday in a women’s professional basketball game. Pietsch also had three assists. Sophie Kunert led Vienna T-Wolves with 22 points and six rebounds. Oryna Bolotnikova added eight points and seven rebounds for Klosterneuburg, Helena Linder had six points and nine rebounds, and Antonia Reissner grabbed 11 rebounds with three assists and a block. Sigi Koizar posted eight points, 10 rebounds and five assists for Vienna T-Wolves, while Petra Pammer scored nine points with six rebounds and two blocks. Mia Malbasic added four points and five rebounds. Inga Orekhova contributed eight points, two rebounds, two assists and three blocks for Klosterneuburg, and Karla Theodorovics had three points and three blocks. Klosterneuburg led 28-23 at halftime and took a 39-36 advantage into the fourth quarter. Klosterneuburg improved to 1-1. Vienna T-Wolves fell to 0-2.
