Hapoel Rishon opened with 16 first-quarter points and led after one period, but Holon answered with 28 points in the second to move ahead. Hapoel Rishon scored 12 in the second, 19 in the third and 9 in the fourth. Holon added 20 in the third and 19 in the fourth after a seven-point first quarter. The home side protected its advantage over the final two periods and secured the win. Holon improved to 6-2, while Hapoel Rishon moved to 2-1. Holon returns to action next week, while Hapoel Rishon continues its schedule on the road. Both teams will look to build momentum in their upcoming women’s professional basketball contests.
