PETAH TIKVA, Israel (Interstat) — Holon defeated Hapoel Petah Tikva 78-54 on Monday in a women’s professional basketball game. Holon, the visiting team, scored 21 points in the first quarter, 10 in the second, 20 in the third and 27 in the fourth. Hapoel Petah Tikva, the home team, scored 14 points in the first quarter, nine in the second, nine in the third and 22 in the fourth. Holon led after every quarter. Holon improved its season record to 3-1. Hapoel Petah Tikva fell to 0-1. The game was organized by Israel in Israel. Holon previously beat AEO Proteas Voulas and also won at AEO Proteas Voulas this season. Holon next hosts Hapoel Jerusalem. Hapoel Petah Tikva next plays at Maccabi Bnot. Holon’s victory came after it opened the season with two wins over AEO Proteas Voulas. Hapoel Petah Tikva will seek its first win of the season in its next game.
