MILAN (Interstat) — Angela Juhasz had 17 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and one block to lead Sanga Milano past Cagliari 76-39 on Saturday in a women’s professional basketball game. Sanga Milano improved to 2-0, while Cagliari dropped to 0-2. Sanga Milano led 18-13 after the first quarter and 38-21 at halftime, then outscored Cagliari 25-6 in the fourth. Elena Bestagno added eight points, five rebounds and six assists. Alice Nori had eight points and eight rebounds, Maria Barberis contributed eight points, nine rebounds and three assists, and Ilaria Nespoli scored eight points. Susanna Toffali also scored eight points for Sanga Milano, which finished with 13 offensive rebounds and 12 assists. Eugenia Caldaro led Cagliari with six points and seven rebounds, Anja Marinkovic scored 12 points, Ndeye Tall added seven points and two blocks, and Eleonora Cassai chipped in two assists. Sanga Milano shot 26 of 64 from the floor and 9 of 27 from three-point range while limiting Cagliari to 8-of-45 shooting.
