BAHIA BLANCA, Argentina (Interstat) — Boca defeated Union Bahia 67-38 on Thursday in a women’s professional basketball game. The visiting Boca controlled the game from the start, building a 38-17 halftime lead and taking a 47-28 advantage into the fourth quarter. Boca scored 16 points in the first quarter, 22 in the second, 9 in the third and 20 in the fourth. Union Bahia scored 11 in the first, 6 in the second, 11 in the third and 10 in the fourth. Union Bahia was held to six points in the second quarter. Boca led 47-28 after three quarters. Boca took control early and never trailed. The visitors led throughout. The road victory kept Boca undefeated at 2-0 this season, while Union Bahia fell to 0-1. Boca next plays at Quilmes on Oct. 24, and Union Bahia will host Atletico Penarol on Oct. 16.
