YEKATERINBURG (Interstat) — UMMC will put its unbeaten record on the line against Enisey in a women’s professional basketball game on Monday. UMMC is the home team and enters with a 5-0 season record. Enisey is the visiting team and carries a 2-2 record into the matchup.

UMMC’s most recent result was a 37-22 win at Neftyanik on Oct. 24. Before that, UMMC beat Samara 87-41 at home on Oct. 20, topped Dyn Novosibirsk 97-54 at home on Oct. 12, defeated Vladimirskiy 84-47 at home on Oct. 5 and won at Ivanovo 83-71 on Oct. 1. UMMC has opened the season with five wins in five games. The wins have come against Neftyanik, Samara, Dyn Novosibirsk, Vladimirskiy and Ivanovo.

Enisey’s most recent result was a 72-64 home win over Samara on Oct. 24. Enisey also won at Dyn Novosibirsk 61-53 on Oct. 20. The team’s two losses came against Dynamo Kursk, which won 89-68 at Enisey on Oct. 16, and at Dynamo Moscow, where Enisey fell 73-60 on Oct. 12. Enisey has split its first four games. Enisey’s wins have come against Dyn Novosibirsk and Samara.

The matchup brings together one of the league’s early unbeaten teams and a visiting side looking to move above .500. UMMC will aim to continue its season-opening run at home, while Enisey will seek a second straight win after the victory over Samara. Both teams last played on Oct. 24, giving each a short turnaround before the game on Monday.

After Monday, UMMC is scheduled to visit MBA on Nov. 5. Enisey is set to host Spartak Moscow on Nov. 6. UMMC is also slated to host Spartak Moscow on Nov. 21, while Enisey is scheduled to visit Nadezhda on Nov. 22. UMMC is set to play at Dynamo Moscow on Nov. 25, and Enisey is scheduled to visit Vladimirskiy the same day. Enisey is also set to host Ivanovo on Nov. 29, host Neftyanik on Dec. 6 and visit MBA on Dec. 11. UMMC is scheduled to host Nadezhda on Nov. 29, visit Dynamo Kursk on Dec. 7 and visit Vladimirskiy on Dec. 10. The schedule continues into December and January.

Enisey will look to build on its recent home victory and carry that form on the road. UMMC will look to protect its home court and remain perfect. The game is part of the women’s professional schedule and is set for Monday.
