The visiting Venezia led 26-18 after the first quarter, 45-38 at halftime and 60-51 through three quarters before Broni took the fourth quarter 22-21. Alyssa Ustby paced Venezia with 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Matilde Villa added 14 points, five rebounds and four assists. Amaya Battle led Broni with 12 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Vanessa Jasa scored 16 points. Hannah Stuelke also scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds. Anna Winkowska had 12 points, five rebounds and two assists. Francesca Pan scored 16 points for Venezia, while Francesca Pasa contributed 11 points and four assists, and Ivana Dojkic had 14 points. Carlotta Gianolla added six points and six rebounds for Broni. Venezia shot 31 of 61 from the floor, made 11 of 24 3-pointers and committed eight turnovers. Broni shot 31 of 59, hit 3 of 8 from deep and turned the ball over 14 times. Venezia improved to 2-1, while Broni fell to 0-2.
