It extended the lead to 74-55 through three quarters before closing with a 26-18 fourth quarter. London’s record fell to 0-1, while Manchester improved to 1-0. Amaris Baker led London with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Chloe Wilson added 20 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Veera Pirttinen paced Manchester with 18 points and five assists. Maaja Bratka scored 20 points and grabbed four rebounds. Janelle Brown added 11 points, five rebounds and six assists. Maya Price had seven points, eight rebounds and four blocks. Hannah Robb scored 12 points with five assists. Jenna Mastellone also scored 12. Ella O’Donnell added six points and four rebounds. Annika Shah chipped in nine points, four rebounds and five assists. London will host Caledonia next, while Manchester visits Sheffield.
