CHARLEVILLE-MÉZIÈRES, France (Interstat) — Flammes will open their Euroleague Women season by hosting KP Brno on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, in a women’s professional basketball game. KP Brno will be the visiting team, and Flammes will be the home team. The matchup is organized by Euroleague Women, the top European club competition for women’s basketball. Both clubs enter the contest with 0-0 records, making the opener a fresh start before domestic league schedules accelerate.

Flammes closed their most recent action with a 69-61 road win at Bourges on May 2, 2026. That result gave Flammes momentum heading into the offseason and into this Euroleague Women opener. KP Brno also finished their last outing on a winning note, defeating SBS Ostrava 68-64 at home on April 21, 2026. The Czech club will now travel to France for its first game of the new campaign. The previous results came in each team’s most recent game before the offseason.

KP Brno’s schedule after the Euroleague Women meeting includes a home game against Sokol HK on Sept. 27, a trip to DSK on Oct. 4, a home matchup with Slovanka on Oct. 7, and a home contest against SBS Ostrava on Oct. 10. Flammes travels to Landerneau on Oct. 10, hosts Montpellier on Oct. 18, and visits Chartres on Oct. 25. A home game against Bourges follows on Oct. 31. Flammes then travels to Angers on Nov. 7 and Villeneuve on Nov. 22 before hosting La Tronche Meylan on Nov. 28.

The opening game will be the first meeting of the season between the clubs and their first Euroleague Women test. Flammes will look to use home court while KP Brno aims to carry over the form from its last victory. Both sides will have several domestic games ahead, but the Euroleague Women opener stands as the first competitive step of the new season. The game will mark the start of a busy stretch for both clubs, with domestic league play following soon after.
