RISSKOV, Denmark (Interstat) — Emilie Hesseldal recorded 26 points, 19 rebounds, two assists and two blocks to lead Skovbakken Bears to a 77-58 victory over visiting Horsholm on Sunday in women’s professional basketball. Chloe Welch added 20 points, five rebounds and six assists for Skovbakken, which improved to 1-0. Ida Westphall paced Horsholm with 21 points, three rebounds and one assist. Caroline Reumert added 16 points and seven rebounds. Katrine Bjerregaard contributed six points and 13 rebounds. Silje Bosselmann scored six points. Kamille Henriksen had five points, six rebounds and three assists. Emilie Pedersen scored six points. Rosa Johansen had five points and five rebounds. Caroline Tindal Wich scored six points. Horsholm fell to 3-16. Skovbakken led 20-16 after the first quarter, 41-31 at halftime and 59-46 after the third. Horsholm scored 15 points in each of the second and third quarters. Skovbakken scored 18 points in the fourth quarter, while Horsholm had 12. Skovbakken closed out the home win.
