CHOMUTOV, Czech Republic (Interstat) — DSK defeated visiting Slovanka 104-50 in a women’s professional basketball game Friday at Chomutov. DSK improved to 2-3, while Slovanka dropped to 0-4. Karoline Striplin led DSK with 18 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Tereza Zitkova paced Slovanka with 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and one block. Michaela Krejzova added 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists for DSK, Chloe Moore Mcneil had 17 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Ema Blahova and Vanda Kozakova each scored 13. DSK led 23-11 after the first quarter, 45-27 at halftime and 74-38 after three quarters. The hosts shot 36 of 70 from the floor and 13 of 28 from three-point range, while Slovanka shot 17 of 60 and 6 of 31. DSK had 15 offensive rebounds to Slovanka’s six, 12 assists to six and three blocks to two, and committed 11 turnovers to Slovanka’s 20. Slovanka committed 20 fouls to DSK’s 17. DSK next plays at Lokomotiva, and Slovanka hosts SBS Ostrava.
