Maria Albiero added 18 points and five rebounds, while Giovanna Rocha contributed six points, six rebounds and two blocks for Santo Andre, which improved to 11-10. ADRM Maringa dropped to 4-33 with the loss. Thayna Sylvestre paced the visitors with 13 points and five rebounds. Jamily Reis scored 12 points and Anna Moreira dished six assists for Maringa. Santo Andre won its second straight home game by building an early lead and never trailing. The host team shot 49 percent from the floor while holding Maringa to 32 percent. Santo Andre also dominated the boards, outrebounding Maringa 42-30. Lorena Silva grabbed eight rebounds for the winners. Janaina Nonato led Maringa with seven points, four rebounds and a block.
