Beatriz Oliveira added 23 points and 14 assists, and Leticia Lopes scored 14 points for the winners, who shot 44 of 69 from the floor and made 12 of 25 3-pointers while going 22 of 22 at the free-throw line. Giovanna Carey had 11 points, Leticia Lisboa 10, Licinara Rodrigues eight and Taina Paixao eight assists. Connie Clarke led Mesquita with 16 points and 11 rebounds, Jayla Crawford also scored 16, and Leticia Dos Santos added 12. Mesquita shot 22 of 69 overall and 8 of 31 from deep but made all 12 free throws. Cerrado Brasilia forced 19 turnovers and collected 12 steals. The home team improved to 15-13, while Mesquita dropped to 7-8.
