MANISA, Turkey (Interstat) — Turgutlu hosts Fenerbahce II on Saturday in a Turkey B women’s professional basketball game at Manisa, with tipoff scheduled for an evening start.

Turgutlu enters the matchup with a 22-5 record, sitting atop the league standings. Fenerbahce II brings a 17-9 mark into the contest.

The two teams have met twice this season, with Turgutlu winning both. On March 28, Turgutlu defeated Fenerbahce II 68-57 in Istanbul. On Dec. 6, 2025, Turgutlu won 75-48 at home. The series sweep gives Turgutlu a clear psychological edge, but Fenerbahce II has shown improvement in recent weeks, winning three of its past four games.

Center Jada Rice has been a consistent force for Fenerbahce II. In her last four games, Rice averaged 11.5 points and 9.8 rebounds. She posted a double-double on April 18 at Darica Basketbol Feneri, recording 20 points and 19 rebounds in 43 minutes of an 80-78 win. In Fenerbahce II’s most recent game, an 80-71 victory at Mersin II on April 28, Rice contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

Fenerbahce II has also received strong contributions from forward Selen Bas, who logged 10 points and nine rebounds in that win, and guard Berfin Sahin, who added 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench. The team will need similar production to challenge Turgutlu’s depth.

For Turgutlu, forward Mikayla Cowling has been the offensive catalyst. She averaged 14.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists over her past four games. Cowling posted a double-double on April 28 at Yalova, scoring 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 41 minutes of a 72-68 victory. Two days earlier, she scored 22 points in a 90-73 win over Yalova.

Forward Kennedi Jackson also has been effective, recording 12 points and 14 rebounds in the win at Yalova. Guard Ronahi Kiran added 13 points in that game, giving Turgutlu multiple scoring options.

Turgutlu has won six straight games overall. Its most recent loss came March 22 against Yalova, a 99-79 setback. Since then, Turgutlu has beaten Edirne Bld. Edirnespor 94-39, Burhaniye 79-66, Yalova twice and Fenerbahce II once.

Fenerbahce II, meanwhile, has alternated wins and losses over its past six games. After beating Darica Basketbol Feneri on April 18, it lost to Istanbul GSK 89-72, then rebounded with wins over Mersin II.

The teams will meet again Tuesday in Istanbul, adding playoff implications to Saturday’s contest.
