ZAGREB (Interstat) — Bendu Yeaney scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Sibenik to a 72-54 victory over Zagreb on Wednesday. Sibenik shot 26 of 75 from the field, including 9 of 43 from three-point range, and made all 11 free throws. Zagreb shot 21 of 66 and 8 of 32 from beyond the arc, converting all four foul shots. Sibenik held a 17-12 advantage in offensive rebounds and forced 19 turnovers while committing 10. Andjela Strize added 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Sibenik, while Kyierah Dempsey Toney collected 13 rebounds and nine points. Ivana Ujevic and Josipa Milkovic scored nine and 11 points, respectively. Dragana Domuzin led Zagreb with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Laura Zelnyte had six points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. Sibenik improved to 19-5, while Zagreb dropped to 17-7. The win marks Sibenik’s third straight victory over Zagreb this season.
