BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Interstat) — Ferro defeated Instituto 64-57 in a women’s professional basketball game Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ferro improved to 34-10, while Instituto fell to 30-14.

Florencia Fernandez led Ferro with 17 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks in 28 minutes, continuing a strong stretch after recording 11 points and 11 rebounds in the teams’ previous meeting April 19. Dalma Piri added 16 points and six assists. Ferro shot 22 of 59 from the floor, including 7 of 22 from three-point range, and made all 13 free throws. The home team held a 12-8 edge in offensive rebounds and committed 20 turnovers, four fewer than Instituto.

Julieta Sienra scored 20 points for Instituto, while Chiara De Virgillio added 11 points. Maria Sagardoy contributed 10 points and nine rebounds. Instituto shot 19 of 59 overall and 4 of 29 from beyond the arc but made all 15 free throws. The loss was Instituto’s second to Ferro this season after a 69-49 defeat Dec. 20, 2025.
