CHENGDU, China (Interstat) — Kalani Brown scored 34 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Shanxi past Sichuan 87-80 on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in a China Women’s Basketball League clash.

Shakira Austin added 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Shanxi, which improved to 24-6. Siyu Wang and Song Kexin each contributed 10 points.

Natasha Howard led Sichuan with 21 points, while Zhou Xiyu added 13 points and Elizabeth Cambage had 10 points and nine rebounds. Li Yuan dished nine assists.

Shanxia’s back-to-back head-to-head losses to Sichuan earlier in April were avenged. The win splits the season series at 2-2 heading into another matchup Saturday at Shanxi.

Sichuan, now 23-7, shot poorly from the floor and from beyond the arc. The game, organized by the China Basketball Association, drew a crowd in Chengdu.
