MILAN (Interstat) — The Milano Stars defeated Giussano 79-66 on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Milano in an Italy A2 women’s professional basketball game. The Stars improved to 9-19 while Giussano dropped to 6-19.

Milano shot 32 of 67 from the field and 11 of 27 from 3-point range, while Giussano shot 23 of 67 and 8 of 29. Both teams were perfect from the free throw line, Milano 4 for 4 and Giussano 12 for 12. The Stars held a 108.4 offensive rating to Giussano’s 89.6.

Tereza Vitulova led Milano with 16 points, eight rebounds and two blocks. Chiara Camporeale added 15 points and six rebounds, and Sara Bocchetti had 13 points and six assists. Francesca Diotti led Giussano with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. Laura Valli contributed 14 points and nine rebounds, and Magdalena Szajtauer had eight points and nine rebounds.

Milano outrebounded Giussano 38-35 in total rebounds and had six blocks to Giussano’s two. The Stars committed 15 turnovers to Giussano’s 11. The teams will meet again Thursday at Giussano.
