AVELLANEDA, Argentina (Interstat) — Milagros Morell recorded a double-double with 14 rebounds and 10 points to propel Nautico Avellaneda to a 73-56 victory over Quimsa in a women’s professional basketball game Sunday.

The win avenged a home loss to Quimsa just one day earlier. Morell, a 6-foot-3 power forward, also added three assists and a block in 31 minutes.

Guadalupe Castelnuovo led all scorers with 16 points for Nautico Avellaneda, which improved its season record to 17-20. Quimsa, which got 11 points and 11 rebounds from Lorena Campos, fell to 18-23.

The teams split their two-game weekend series after Quimsa won Saturday.
