BEIJING (Interstat) — Damiris Dantas scored 29 points to lead Liaoning to an 83-80 victory over Beijing in a women’s professional basketball game Friday.

Dantas, a 6-foot-3 forward, added eight rebounds in 33 minutes. Sparkle Taylor added 28 points for Liaoning. Beijing’s Jade Melbourne recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 10 assists and five rebounds in the loss.

Liaoning improved its season record to 15-7. Beijing fell to 6-19. It was the third consecutive win for Liaoning over Beijing in a 10-day span. The game was organized by the Chinese Basketball Association.
