BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (Interstat) — Obras narrowly defeated Berazategui 72-69 in a women’s professional basketball game Friday.

The home team held off a late push from the visitors to secure the victory. Nicole Tapari led Obras with 12 points and eight rebounds. Sofia Acevedo scored a game-high 22 points for Berazategui in the loss.

The result improved Obras’ season record to 30-7, while Berazategui fell to an even 17-17. The teams split their four-game season series.
