(Interstat) — Sepsi SIC delivered a record-setting performance in a 124-24 victory over CSUP Timisoara in a Romanian women’s professional basketball game Friday. The home side’s defensive pressure was overwhelming, forcing 40 turnovers and converting them into easy offense. Sepsi SIC was flawless from the free-throw line, making all 24 attempts, and dominated the glass with 29 offensive rebounds.

Lauryn Taylor led a balanced Sepsi SIC attack with 22 points and seven rebounds in just 24 minutes. Livia Gereben added 19 points and six assists. CSUP Timisoara struggled profoundly, shooting just 20 percent from the floor and managing only three offensive rebounds in the lopsided defeat. Sepsi SIC improved to 16-9 overall while CSUP Timisoara fell to 2-15.
