Logan vs. S.C. Phoenix
COTTON TREE, Australia (Interstat) — The Logan women’s basketball team, riding a six-game winning streak and sporting a 6-2 record, visits S.C. Phoenix on Saturday, May 30, in an NBL matchup at Cotton Tree.
S.C. Phoenix enters the game at 3-3 after a 78-74 victory over Ipswich on May 24. The home team will rely heavily on forward Erin Bollmann, who has been on a tear. In that win, Bollmann logged 38 minutes and produced 34 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Two games earlier, in a 78-82 loss to Townsville on May 15, she had 13 points, four rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes. On May 9 at Gold Coast, in a 74-54 win, Bollmann posted 18 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and a block in 35 minutes. Her consistent production makes her the focal point of the Phoenix attack.
Logan, meanwhile, comes off a dominant 85-66 road win Friday against North Gold Coast. In that contest, Logan’s Maya Price contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Isabel Palmer added 17 points and four rebounds. The team’s only losses this season came in its first two games: a 60-89 defeat at Cockburn on Aug. 30, 2025, and an 85-81 overtime loss to Waverley on Aug. 29, 2025. Since then, Logan has won six straight, including a 94-49 rout at Gold Coast on April 19 and an 86-52 victory over Brisbane on April 25.
Logan’s offense has been potent, averaging more than 80 points per game during the streak. The visitors will look to push the tempo and exploit a Phoenix defense that allowed 88 points in a loss to Cairns on May 1.
S.C. Phoenix, after Saturday’s game, faces a quick turnaround with a road game at Southern Districts on Sunday. Logan continues its schedule June 5 at home against Rockhampton.
Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. local time.
