JOONDALUP, Australia (Interstat) — Lakeside visits Joondalup City in a women’s professional basketball game Friday in an Australia NBL matchup that pits teams headed in opposite directions.

She posted a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds in a 95-90 win at Perry Lakes on April 18, and added 15 points and six rebounds in a loss to Cockburn on April 17. In her most recent game, a 78-57 loss to Kalamunda on April 24, McCarty logged 31 minutes, scoring 11 points and grabbing six rebounds.
For Joondalup City, guard Asianae Johnson has been the offensive catalyst. Johnson scored 25 points and collected six rebounds and three assists in a 94-79 loss at Warwick on April 25. The previous game, she matched that scoring output with 25 points and seven rebounds in a 77-72 victory over East Perth on April 17.
Joondalup City’s last win came against East Perth. Since then, the team has dropped consecutive decisions.
Lakeside’s most recent win came at Perry Lakes, a 95-90 decision on April 18. Forward Samantha Lubcke contributed eight points and nine rebounds in the loss to Kalamunda, and guard Esmeralda Morales scored 12 points with a rebound and two assists in that game.
