Hobart vs. Keilor

MELBOURNE, Australia (Interstat) — The Hobart women’s professional basketball team will visit Keilor on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in an Australia NBL matchup at Melbourne.

Hobart (3-5 across all competitions) enters the contest after a 82-78 victory at Mount Gambier on Friday. Tyia Singleton led the way with 14 points and 16 rebounds in 34 minutes. Tishara Morehouse added 26 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Sharna Thompson contributed 24 points and four rebounds.

Singleton has been a consistent force for Hobart. In her previous four games, she averaged 11.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per contest. She posted a double-double of 16 points and five rebounds in a 92-67 win over Bendigo Braves on May 2, and grabbed 11 rebounds to go with nine points in a 75-69 victory against Northern Force on April 18.

Keilor (5-4) counters with a strong recent performance of its own, defeating Frankston 84-57 on Saturday. Lara McSpadden has been the focal point of Keilor’s attack. Over her last six games, McSpadden averaged 20.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest. She scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in a 58-70 loss at Ballarat on April 25, and posted 24 points and 10 rebounds in an 84-69 win over Northern Force on April 12.

The home team has shown resilience, winning three of its last four games. Keilor defeated Geelong 74-70 on May 3, but suffered a 68-93 loss at Diamond Valley on May 2. The team also lost to Ballarat 58-70 on April 25 before rebounding with a 70-53 win at Nunawading on April 19.

Hobart has struggled on the road this season, losing three of its last four away games. The team fell 76-86 at Waverley on April 12 and 77-83 at Kilsyth on April 11. However, the victory at Mount Gambier provided a boost of momentum.

Keilor’s depth has been a factor, with McSpadden leading a balanced scoring attack. The team’s defensive efforts have been inconsistent, allowing 93 points at Diamond Valley but holding Frankston to 57 points.

Sunday’s game will be the first meeting between the two teams this season. Hobart will look to climb above .500, while Keilor aims to continue its winning ways and build toward a playoff push.

Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. local time at Melbourne.
