TOWNSVILLE, Australia (Interstat) — Alicia Froling scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Townsville women to an 84-74 victory over Southside on Sunday in the Australia NBL.

The win at home improved Townsville’s record to 21-5, while Southside fell to 12-14. Froling, a 6-foot-2 forward, added three assists and two blocks in 37 minutes. Courtney Woods added 19 points for Townsville.

Southside was led by Cayla George’s 25 points and six rebounds. Maddison Rocci contributed 20 points and eight assists in the loss. The teams split their recent four-game series, with each winning twice on their home floor.
