TRUTNOV, Czech Republic (Interstat) — Lokomotiva defeated Slovanka 94-71 in a women’s professional basketball game Sunday, powered by a dominant performance from Matehya Bryant.

Bryant scored 22 points and grabbed 20 rebounds for Lokomotiva, which improved to 7-12 across all competitions. Slovanka fell to 1-17.

Lokomotiva’s efficient offense, which shot 44 percent from the floor and a perfect 15 for 15 from the free throw line, proved decisive. Meghan Boyd added 21 points for the winners. Jitka Pilarova led Slovanka with 20 points.

The home team controlled the game with superior ball movement and defense, recording eight assists and eight steals compared to Slovanka’s two in each category. Slovanka’s Anastasiia Kovtun posted a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
