CANBERRA, Australia (Interstat) — Cayla George recorded a double-double with 15 rebounds and 10 points to guide Southside to an 82-75 victory over Canberra in a women’s professional basketball game Tuesday.

The Southside center, who added four assists and four blocks, anchored a balanced effort. Isabelle Bourne scored a team-high 22 points, while Maddison Rocci dished 10 assists for the visitors.

Jade Melbourne led all scorers with 23 points for Canberra in the losing effort. The result improves Southside’s season record to 10-12, while Canberra falls to 8-14.
