Perth Dominates Bendigo in Women’s NBL Clash
BENDIGO, Australia (Interstat) — Perth delivered a commanding defensive performance to defeat Bendigo 88-64 in a women’s National Basketball League game Sunday.
The visitors controlled the contest from the outset, holding the home team to a low scoring output and avenging a 29-point loss on the same floor from November. The victory extends Perth’s winning streak to three games and improves its league-leading record to 17-5. Bendigo, which got a key performance from forward Catherine MacGregor, falls to 16-6 with the loss.
The result marks Perth’s second win over Bendigo in their three meetings this season, having also won 85-81 at home on Jan. 15. Perth next hosts the Sydney Flames on Feb. 7, while Bendigo travels to face Townsville on Feb. 8.
