San Bernardino Valley 69, at Barstow 54

BARSTOW, Calif. (Interstat) — The San Bernardino Valley College women’s basketball team defeated Barstow 69-54 on Saturday behind a dominant performance from Destiny Melendez. Melendez scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Wolverines. Majesty Cade added 18 points and six assists. San Bernardino Valley led 35-24 at halftime and maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the second half. The Wolverines improved to 5-21 overall.
