Andrew 53, at East Georgia State 80

(Interstat) — East Georgia State used a commanding rebounding advantage to defeat Andrew 80-53 in a women’s junior college basketball game Saturday. The Bobcats outrebounded the Fighting Tigers 52-12, including a 12-4 edge on the offensive glass, to control the game. Tahjae Hawes led all scorers with 24 points for East Georgia State, which improved to 10-6. Andrew, which fell to 5-11, was led by Kezoriyah Blackshear’s 17 points.
