PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — In a grinding Atlantic 10 defensive battle, the Saint Joseph’s Hawks used a decisive second-quarter surge to gain separation and held off a late rally to defeat the Davidson Wildcats 59-51 in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at Hagan Arena.
