PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — Gabby Casey scored 22 points to lead Saint Joseph’s to a 59-51 win over Davidson in a women’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at Hagan Arena.

The Hawks improved to 15-6 overall, while the Wildcats fell to 14-9. Saint Joseph’s used a 19-9 second-quarter advantage to build a lead it would not relinquish. Davidson’s Charlise Dunn recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. Aleah Snead added 10 points for the Hawks, who avenged a loss to Davidson from Jan. 7.

A crowd of 1,054 watched the Atlantic 10 contest. Saint Joseph’s shot more effectively from the floor to secure the victory despite a game-high scoring effort from Dunn.
