ITHACA, N.Y. (Interstat) — Princeton advanced to the Ivy League tournament final by defeating Brown 65-51 on Friday at Ben Light Gymnasium.

The top-seeded Tigers built a commanding 23-6 lead after the first quarter and maintained control throughout. Madison St. Rose led Princeton with 18 points. Grace Arnolie paced Brown with 17 points.

Princeton improved to 25-3 this season, while Brown fell to 16-11. The Tigers shot 41.8% from the field and outscored Brown by 11 points at the free-throw line. The Bears, despite 10 steals, shot just 28.6% overall.

Princeton will play for the conference’s automatic NCAA tournament bid on Saturday. Brown faces Harvard in a consolation game.
