JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Interstat) — North Alabama held off Queens for a 57-55 win in an ASUN Conference women’s basketball game Tuesday at UNF Arena.

The Lions, who improved to 17-13, used a 19-point third quarter to erase a halftime deficit and secure the narrow victory. The Royals fell to 10-20 despite leading 26-25 at intermission.

Queens built its lead behind 15 second-quarter points but could not maintain momentum after halftime. North Alabama’s defense tightened in the final period to preserve the win. It was the third meeting between the teams this season, with the Lions winning all three by a combined 16 points.
