Harvard at Dartmouth
HANOVER, N.H. (Interstat) — A surging Dartmouth squad hosts a Harvard team looking to build momentum as Ivy League women’s basketball play opens Saturday at Leede Arena.
The Big Green (9-4) enter conference action having won seven of their last eight, including a dominant 99-35 victory over St. Joseph’s on Tuesday. Dartmouth’s defense has been a cornerstone, holding opponents to 53 points or fewer in five of those wins. A key recent contributor has been Debra Hill, who delivered 15 points and six rebounds in just 16 minutes against St. Joseph’s. Her role will be one to watch after fluctuating minutes in prior games.
Harvard (7-6) snapped a two-game skid with a 70-63 home win over Delaware on Monday. The Crimson are powered by standout Saniyah Glenn, who posted 20 points and six rebounds in that victory. Glenn has been a consistent force, averaging 15.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.3 blocks over her last three contests. Support comes from Katie Krupa (16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists vs. Delaware) and Karlee White (13 points, 7 rebounds).
This matchup pits Dartmouth’s steady season trajectory against a Harvard team that has shown flashes of high potential, including a road win at Arkansas, but has struggled with consistency. The Crimson’s 2-5 road record will be tested in a hostile league opener.
The game tips off at 2 p.m. EST on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, marking the first of two regular-season meetings between the rivals. They will meet again in Cambridge on Feb. 7.
