Grambling at Baylor

WACO, Texas (Interstat) — The Grambling State Lady Tigers, seeking to halt a five-game skid, face a formidable challenge Sunday against the Baylor Lady Bears at the Ferrell Center.

Grambling (1-6) enters the contest following a 67-51 home loss to Campbell on Nov. 22, where Shaniah Nunn led the team with 11 points. The Lady Tigers’ lone victory this season was a 93-45 rout of Ouachita Baptist on Nov. 9, but they have struggled offensively in road games, including a 39-point output in a loss at DePaul.

Baylor (6-1), ranked ninth nationally, is coming off a dominant 75-46 win over Louisiana Tech on Wednesday. Taliah Scott powered the Lady Bears with 21 points and five rebounds in the victory. Baylor’s only blemish is a 57-52 loss to Iowa on Nov. 20, but they have since responded with two consecutive wins, including a 74-72 overtime victory against Davidson.

The game pits Grambling’s Monica Marsh, who dished out seven assists in the loss to Campbell, against a stout Baylor defense that has held opponents to an average of 57.7 points per game. The Lady Bears have won their last 14 non-conference home games.

Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
